Great place I have used for over a decade. They have always been honest with me and done good work for a good price. I mostly see Bruce and he is a good guy, takes care of things properly. I recently had a weird incident with our fireplace where creosote was falling down the chimney onto our insert and it choked out the fireplace. I called on a Friday late afternoon and they made an appointment for me first thing in the morning. Bruce kindly addressed the problem for us so we have the option of using our fireplace before it gets really cold. – RA

Emerald City Chimney not only replaced two of our crumbling chimneys but also replaced and repaired two light pillars in front of our home and added a cosmetic “top” to some of our brick walls. They did a beautiful job matching our existing brick and they were very diligent and professional with their work each day. – WD

The guys were neat (nothing to clean up after they left) and matched the old mortar so well and type of brick you can hardly tell the new from the old. “I almost never give 5 star reviews. I have dealt with so many contractors recently after buying our first house and can honestly say Emerald City has been the best to work with. They were safe, thoughtful, and careful while they were here and arrived within the window they said they would be here. Wayne identified a major issue where another contractor had recently applied the wrong kind of sealant on my chimney that could’ve resulted in greater expense and damage for us down the road. Trish was also incredibly accommodating to the fact that we needed the chimney work done quickly and found a way to squeeze us in despite their busy schedule. Another chimney specialist gave me a quote that was significantly more expensive and included work that didn’t need to be done. I appreciate that ECC was honest with me in their appraisal and did excellent work. Highly recommend.” – Jen

Wayne and his crew were very professional, kept the work site clean, taking steps to protect both the inside and outside of our house, and did great work. Wayne had to deliver some bad news to us, which increased the scope and price of the project, but he and Brent were tremendous in working us into the schedule immediately so that they could continue the work already in progress and worked through the challenges with us.
